  1. My favorite sport is soccer, it's really fun to play, and I enjoy playing it with friends. I used to be on a soccer team my sophomore year but I didn't have time to play varsity because of work. I have played soccer since I was a little kid in Poland. Soccer is a really fun sport and in soccer everyone has to work as a team, otherwise you can't play. You always have to work as a team and that's what makes soccer fun. If I didn't have work I would of keep playing for Reavis High School.

  2. My favorite sport is wrestling because, wrestling is one of the toughest sport out there. In football, soccer, baseball, and so on, you could relay on your team mates for help, but in wrestling, its just you and the other guy standing in front of you, battling it out for 6 minutes straight. Wrestling is the only sport that will teach a young boy discipline, and how to be become a man. Its just you and another guy that wants to be you down, theirs no help, its just you to battle it out yourself. Wrestling is life, try to go to school, and after school go up to wrestling practice for almost three hours of hell, then go home around eight and try to do your homework, and on top of all that, try to it all while cutting weight, not eating what you want. Try and go to bed early Friday night while everybody is out, because you have to wake up at five in the morning, maybe sometimes six in the morning to go to a tournament from 6 in the morning to 6 or 8 at night. Wrestling really test your skills, your toughness, if wrestling was easy, then we would have the whole school do it, but instead of the whole school do it, we have 14 toughest kids in the school to be part of the varsity line up. We have lots of kids come in to try out, and mostly half of them quit after a week because its way to hard for them. Lots of UFC fighters where Big Ten champs in wrestling, All Americans in the NCAA. Thats why wrestling is the toughest, and thats why i like it so much.

    1. I definitely agree with you on that. Wrestling is a tough sport and it sucks the conditioning you have to do but its all worth it at the end when you get that win.

  3. When I was in grade school I played all kinds of sports football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. My favorite out of all of them is football. I like football because it brings everybody together no matter who you are or what color you are.I have been playing football since 5th grade and it has taught me alot. I think football can teach leadership and other life or social skills. I also like it because you can take stress and anger out by playing football. To me football is the greatest sport there is, It is fun to watch and even better and more intense when you play it. The best feeling is when you are running out on the field to a home crowd. If we did not have football I would be lost without it.

  4. My favorite sport is soccer because, it depends on your teamwork and not just one person. Soccer teaches you how to perform certain maneuvers and techniques properly. How to outwit the opponent and how to use your endurance at your weakest point to stay in the game. Like any sport, soccer teaches you that sometimes, no matter how hard you played, you'll lose. But in that loss, you have the opportunity to learn to be honest with yourself about what you and your teammates could have done to perform better and what aspects of yourself you could have worked on to improve the outcome of the game. it also teaches you how to accept defeat graciously. Soccer teaches you how to make the best use if your time. soccer is not just a good sport to play. To watch it is fun too.

  5. The sport that I love the most is basketball. Growing up as a kid, I would always play all kinds of sports like football, baseball, soccer, and more. The main sport that I really enjoyed playing was basekball. Basketball is one of the most popular sport in the world. People all over the world play basketball. My all time favorite basketball player is Michael Jordan. Even though I wasn't born yet to see Michael Jordan play, I still saw videos, read books about him, and hear things in the media about him today. I would always watch my big brother and cousins play basketball when I was about four years old and I wanted to play like them. Now I am blessed to played organized basketball with our Reavis Varsity Basketball team. I truly love it and hope to play college basketball next year.

  6. There are varieties of sports; it can go from kicking a ball to flying in the air. To me I think volleyball is different than the rest of the sports, and that’s why I consider it my favorite sport. It’s a team sport that mixes and blends elements of excitement, joy, and fast pace movement. There is no greater feeling than smashing the ball down onto the opponents side or making an amazing pick up. Volleyball is a sport that can be practiced anywhere; against a wall for self practice, courts in copious environments, and with friends or family. Team work is a key success for achievement and holds a position for everyone to participate. Volleyball contrasts with other sports for it does set standard requirements needed from players like strength or a musculature physique. The feeling of joy and the beat of your heart once your shoes touch the floor of the court is the best feeling. There is always support that are willing help you, when you fall down. It is not always about winning; it’s about the unbreakable sensation and connection between the ball, you and your teammates.

  7. My favorite sport to play is tennis. When I was a kid, I used to dislike the sport, but over time, I learned to love it. Tennis taught me to be confident in my actions because if you doubt yourself during a game, you would eventually make little mistakes that would cost you the match. I also love this sport because of all the friends that I had made during my time playing it. I've played tennis in Reavis for 3 years, and this year will be my fourth. In all 3 years, I had placed in the conference matches and received medals from the conference and other tournaments. The greatest feeling that I experienced were getting aces in serious tournaments, because it is like the other team is giving us free points. Now that I think back, I noticed that I learned to love this sport because almost everyone in my family likes to play this sport as well.

  8. My favorite sport that I love to play is soccer. I have played soccer since I was a little kid and still play today. Soccer has helped me gain a lot of new friends that really feel like family since I would play with them for so long. The soccer team I grew up watching is Barcelona, which is a team in the Spain Division, and watching them play inspired me to get out there and practice. I love soccer because it gives me a way to relax and have fun. I also like soccer becuase it brings my family together when watch the World Cup and cheer for Mexico. Overall, this is my favorite sport because I grew up with it and it is what I do best.

  9. Being extremely unatletic, I do not have a favorite sport I particapate in. I do however enjoy watching sports. I come from a family of sport lovers so sports are constantly being watched on tv at family gatherings and in my household. Frankly, most sports bore me and do not engage me enough to keep watching. Basketball, however, is a sport I enjoy watching because it doesnt require players to stop playing as much as other sports, which causes me to lose interest, basketball is usually a fast paced game that I am able to focus on without spacing out; I can usually watch basketball until the game is finished.

  10. If I had to choose one sport to be my favorite, I would have to choose tennis. During my lifetime I tried out a plethora of sports including football, basketball, baseball, and of course tennis. The one sport that I found myself enjoying the most was tennis. The friends I made and people I met also aided in my fondness for tennis. Also the memories that were made with my friends and team during tennis will stick with me for the rest of my life. It is also a very fast paced and exciting sport. Nothing beats the thrill of slamming the tennis ball down the opponents throats or smashing the ball while they cower in fear. This was not always the case. I used to think tennis wasn't very cool or fun, but once you play for yourself it is truly an enjoyable sport. Fortunately for me, i listened to my friends and decided to join the Reavis tennis team.

  11. My favorite sport although i am not sure if it is a sport but it would be weight lifting. I love the feeling of hitting the gym at any time of the day and working to improve your body and strengthening yourself physically and mentally. And when feeling tired, ready to give up but pushing on through to finish, feeling good and looking into a mirror afterwards and being happy with the outcomes of pushing your self to the maximum everyday and night. Knowing that you left it all in the gym and going home to rest for the next day.

  12. My favorite sport I would have to say is football. Growing up wattching sunday night football with my grnadpa was the best. He taught me all the rules and what the game was about. Watching football games got me pumped up and excited and made me want to play the sport. I couldnt wait untill i was in high school. First time I played football was when i was a freshman at Bogan High school we werent the greatest team out there but we sure did work hard. Being o the field with your teamates since freshman year or sophmore year in cases like mine when i transfered to Reavis. My last year of football was great and it wasnt even a team anymore to me it was another family to me playing with the same guys for three years straight. Playing football is a tough sport and you can get hurt at anytime but its hard work that beats talent when talent refuses to work hard. At the end of the game the winner is the team who played all four quaters and have it everything they got like it was there last game. Football is a very hard and physical sport and thats why i pick football as my favorite sport.

  13. I feel that the reason why that baseball would be considered my most favorite sport is because the time aspect that u do not lack once the ball is put into play or even as the pitcher gets the pitch from his catcher. These kinds of concepts with time would be that much easier to win. it may be as easy as gaining the lead by only one point and take up all the time thinking about what you will throw, or if at the plate ready to hit, keep stepping out and cutting down on the time as you easily eat the clock/time. All it takes is three strikes and some defense to motivate keeping the bats going and being able receive a fare and square victory.

  14. I can honestly can that I do not follow that many sports. However, I do enjoy a game of tennis. I played it through junior year in school. I was never good in tennis, but that does not stop me from enjoying it. I also like it, because since i played it for three years, I fully understand the rules of the game. It's also a sport that I like watching. Whether it's just a game of other students, or a professional game on TV,I think tennis is always fun to watch. I also feel like anyone can learn to play tennis, despite their age, or physical shape. My tennis coach used to always say that tennis is a game for life, once you learn it you can play it as long as you move.

  15. My favorite sport would have to be soccer. The main reasons why I see soccer as being my favorite sport is because its fun and competitive. I grew up with soccer being in my life ever since I was a child. In elementry should my parents signed me up on a park district team and I've been playing it since. Everyone in my family still plays, or played on a soccer team. Being younger than most of my cousins that are around my age was a big advantage because I was taught how to play soccer by both my cousins and parents. Soccer is one of the sports that I get most excited to play. I played soccer for two years at Reavis and was moved up to varsity towards the ending of my sophomore year playing soccer. I think that soccer is one of the hardest sports to play because it takes a lot of skill, every mistake you do reflects on what kind of player you are. Soccer can be a really competitive sport because it is a contact sport and you never know what kind of players will be playing against you. In country there are players who play soccer, plus soccer is an interesting sport, even though it is tough, it remains one of the top three best sport in the world.

  16. Basketball is my favorite sport. For as long as i can remember, I have had a predilection towards basketball rather than sports such as baseball or soccer. Basketball is a game of constant action, high scoring, and a game which, in my opinion, has the best blend of skill, finesse, and athleticism. Also, this is a game in which height is almost a requirement. It would be very difficult for somebody shorter than six feet tall to be successful in the National Basketball Association, although there have been a few exceptions throughout the years such as Allen Iverson and my favorite player, Nate Robinson.

  17. Soccer is my favorite sport. I have been playing soccer since I can remember; my mom signed me up for soccer in my CCD class when i was in 5th grade. Soccer is a very tiring sport and you need to be always alert on the field and need to be very fit. This is as game your you need great ball control, power with the play, and always great lungs because you will be running nonstop for 90 min. It can be a very great sport to play and I wouldn't want to play any other sport other then soccer. It is a challenging sport and that's why I love playing soccer.

  18. My favorite sport is soccer. Soccer is the sport i have been always around. Growing up i would go to many soccer games with my family or friends. I tried playing soccer i played it for a lil bit but as the time went on i had no time to join it in high school. Some Sunday days i would go to soccer games with my dad. Seeing all the fans was an awesome experience. Its awesome to see so many people support a team. How angry and frustrated some of the fans get. Soccer is a very interesting sport but also intense. A lot of hard work is put into but also time. This is why soccer is my favorite sport.

  20. I'd have to say that my favorite sport would be Chess. Chess is not like most other sports as it is a game that does not require that you have specific physical limitations. The game itself is great for doing mental practices and strategizing. it is a simple to understand game and the only real requirement for the game is to have patience, and even then you might not need it when it comes to speed chess. All in all, a great game with some greatness in the mind.
